Sitting in LA Union waiting to get on Metrolink. They are boarding the Starlight and announcing all stops thru to Seattle. First I have heard of the restoration.

with the Graniterock quarry only a few miles away (and u UP customer) , they were able to get a lot of rock and rebuild the roadbed very quickly.
