PV Lamberts Point business car on Amtrak train 5, the California Zephyr, near tunnel #1 on Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision.  Car built in 1914 as Norfolk & Western 200 office car.  Retired as NS 4.

PV COLONIAL CRAFTS (SUEX 7149) entered service on the Pennsylvania Railroad at Chicago on June 4, 1949. The car was one of eight 3-bedroom, drawing room buffet lounge cars which were part of a 95 car order placed by the railroad with car builder Pullman-Standard.

PV Boston & Maine Salisbury Beach was the other car.

That’s the Pride Ride charter.

After Oakland, they’re going to Los Angeles on the Starlight, then back to Chicago — arriving Monday — on the Chief.
