Date: 05/26/23 20:15 Re: New York Subway Brooklyn Shuttle Train Author: pdt IIRC, this is one of the last of 2 pieces left of the old Fulton st El, which was replace by the IND A train line The other small piece IIRC, is the A train line from east of Euclid Ave, to Lefferts Blvd. There was a small piece of unused emphstructure from East New York/Bway Jct to the next station stop along the Canarsie line. This mile or so of EL was used by the fulton line and the canarsie line, I think that section eas rebuilt years ago to eliminate all the excess elevated ROW that had no tracks on it.
Id love to see what Bway Jct looked like when the Fulton St EL was still in use. Maybe on historic Aerials |
