Passenger Trains > No April Fool-Right Place,Right Time

After an intense week at work, with Holy Week and Easter Sunday, we got today off. I headed up to one of my favorite train watching spots- Downtown City Park in Auburndale. The former SAL depot was relocated to this location on the A Line and makes a perfect backdrop. Right after arriving I got back-to-back Amtrak's. First is P98/1, the northbound Silver Meteor, on time, slowing due to an approach signal to meet P91/31, the southbound Silver Star, running one hour late.

For another Florida scene I'm adding our Sunrise Easter Service at Port Charlotte Beach Park. Temperature at dawn was 62F.
