Passenger Trains > Before the WindsDate: 03/15/25 09:06 Before the Winds Author: MNR225 Time for a short drone flight before the high winds predicted for later today show up in SE Wisconsin. Amtrak 332 arrives and departs Sturtevant, WI this morning (03-15-25) on Track One. This train set will turn at Chicago and become today's WB Borealis to St. Paul (Amtrak 1333).

The money expended on this over the course of a year would more than justify another cab car conversion, one would think What a way to run a business.

Meanwhile in the Summer Amtrak runs the Empire Builder 7 from Spokane to Seattle with one locomotive. The route is over 300 miles plus over Stevens Pass. The only maintenance available is in Wenatchee which is about 170 miles from Spokane. |
