Author: cewherry The Pacific Parlor car on #14 due to arrive Seattle on the 2nd suffered the indignity of having some of its sheetmetal come loose enroute. Shortly after leaving Kelso, WA. the crew decided to stop to investigate.
BNSF's section crew at Longview Jct. arrived shortly and and a fix was made to allow the agony to continue. Additional delay: 1 hr 30 min. Maybe the increased speeds of Starlate in the last week was too much for the old timer and its starting to pop its rivets? Date: 09/03/05 08:28 Re: #14's equipment falling apart?
