timecruncher Date: 09/06/05 13:51 Re: Caltrain Sunset Author: raillady I had the priviledge this past weekend of finally taking Caltrain, although I had often seen it when disembarking from the Capitol Corridor in San Jose.
The trainset looked like the California Cars on the CapCorr [except the red stripes], but the interior appeared to us as an upgrade to light rail! Nuthin' fancy. Fare was cheap too. I said a "hi" when disembarking at Palo Alto in behalf of fjc aka Frank. Wasn't sure he was running the train on Labor Day. Otherwise, it was a fast and well worth it trip. Just waiting to take the baby bullet! |
