Love that gray and yellow paint scheme on the L&N. Does anyone know how or where that originated? It kind of reminds me of a rebel soldier's colors.

Nice post!! Like the different perspectives you captured . . including the incorporation of stills. Enjoyed it . . . nice work.

Looks like a great weekend...I wanted to go but couldn't make it. I grew up with L&N's Alcos in Kentucky and it was great to see a C-420 in grey and yellow again.

I wasn't aware the museum had so many other Alcos. What's the history of 2064--is it former Lehigh and Hudson River? Does the museum plan to repaint it and, if so, what scheme?

Thanks--

Mike

Don't know the history of 2064 but I thank they did say it was an ex Lehigh, The museum plans to repaint it in the Tennessee Central scheme. They are working on a L&N SD35 & a GP30 plus a Southern GP30 & E8, One more Alco will be done in N&W.

Thanks, Terry--impressive effort on their part--I will have to figure out a way to get there for the event next year.
