International Railroad Discussion > Australia - Pichi-Pichi Coffee Pot run status for 2016Date: 02/11/16 21:51 Australia - Pichi-Pichi Coffee Pot run status for 2016 Author: frntinplate I see that two trips are shown for the Coffee Pot in 2016 (June and October). Are there any photo charters planned where tickets can be obtained?
thanks Date: 02/12/16 03:09 Re: Australia - Pichi-Pichi Coffee Pot run status for 2016 Author: andersonb109 Don't know the answer to your question but here's a photo of the Coffee Pot in action from an IRT tour in 1995. Taken just south of Woolshed Flat. I rode it one way and talked myself into the car of a local photographer/author on the return to get this and several other locations.

Memos to the musuem have not resulted in any information, so I was trying to find out if other groups had been making plans for later in the year. Advertised charters and such seem to be hard to find out about in advance down under.

It's in pretty good shape for something that's over a hundred years old! Frank30 Date: 02/20/16 19:31 Re: Australia - Pichi-Pichi Coffee Pot run status for 2016 Author: 567Chant The grandfather of the Budd RDC.
