While Karuizawa is in Nagano on the slopes of Asamaya, Kita-Karuizawa in in Gunma prefecture on the former line of the Kusukaru Railway. Here is a nicely restored station and exhibit. I got faked out by Google street view because actual examination this is a wooden model of #13 at the Kurizawa museum.
