International Railroad Discussion > Abandoned E17 in Abandoned Chillan YardDate: 05/22/19 19:18 Abandoned E17 in Abandoned Chillan Yard Author: erielackawanna Driving south through the central part of Chile, we planned on stopping at the big yard in Chillan in hope of seeing something interesting. What we found was a basically derilict place with four freight cars and a Breda E-17 Center Cab electric (minus pantographs). The MUs that run to Santiago where in the station, but nothing else seemed like it had been moved in years and years. It was truly a ghost town, or a ghoest railroad yard.
