Looks like it is the intention of the lefties to burn the FCAB out of Antofagasta. At least that is what Facebook posts are claiming.

2 bridges, and now a second loco. Cab took a molotov cocktail hit with the crew inside.
FCAB use acrylic windows for protection against rock throwers. Acrylic burns, especially when the cocktail is sexed up with laundry detergent to make it "sticky"
These morons have had a lot of practice throwing incendery devices at police APCs and troop carriers.

Perhaps it is time to put troopers on the trains to apprehend or incompacitate these folks.

A FCAB staff member emailed that rocks placed on the line stopped the train

Crew forced off loco at pistol point, then beaten up (capitalist's lackeys), prior to loco being fired

The load was copper cathode, so the mob helped themselves, not much taken as the sheets weigh around 80kg each

The coppers managed to nick at least one of the perpetrators when they arrived at the scene
