Map Series Europe
Author: andersonb109

With so many small countries, it's difficult to get all the lines on the map.  You might notice some gold lines in the water. Those are ferry or cruise routes taken.....Heysham Port to Douglas, Douglas to Liverpool, Riga to Stockholm, Helsinki to Tallinn, and a western Mediterranean cruise with my mom. That trip did see some rail activity when I abandoned her and took a ride up to the French Alps and back from Nice.  Total European mileage not including the U.K. is 39,353 from 453 stations..the most on the Continent being Frankfurt Flughaffen, Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, and Kiev Passenger. A separate map of the U.K. to follow.

Victoria Station - Gatwick Airport is the only foreign rail travel I have done.
The train ride at the beginning or end of the journey was always enjoyable.
Always rode First Class; that made it even better.

Nice use of the National Geographic Europe map.

I'll have to find one of those for personal use.

I've used online maps and modified them digitally, but it's not as satisfying as having the hard copy.
