Another workhorse from down under, still earning there keep.
Built by GMD Canada, as "Df' Class GL22MC 1979 (20) and 1981 (10) at 1600 HP.
Having be upgraded to "Dft' Class(Turbo) and "Dfb" (BrightStar) now rated at 2.400 HP, multi purpose at home on, Passenger or Freight.
Now all branded in "Kiwi Rail"paint sceme.

Here's my DF6133 contribution.

I took the standard white metal kit, added a host of brass extras, motorised dynamic brake fan, TCS 6 function decoder, and mated it to a North Yard mechanism and some paint and hey presto.

Photo on the BBQ table, another shot on the layout showing the lights etc.

And lastly, DF6133 dropping into Picton on the Christchurch to Picton (return) passenger. Date would be around the mid eigthies.
