I felt an initial tremor. I knew there was an earthquake, but not sure if it was a small one or not. A moment later, I knew it was a quite bit quake, then felt the ground asking. Immediately, search for the updates. found there was a quake in the Fukushima area. The magnitude was almost similar to what happened 11 years ago. Noticed also, a tsunami warning was issued. Tohoku Shinkansen operation has been suspended between Nasu-Shiobara and Morioka. JR East offers special schedule runs between Tokyo and Nasu-Shibara. Also between Morioka and Shin-Aomori. Between Nasu-Shiobara and Morioka. JR East offers special runs using Tohoku Mainline (exiting mainline). In this segment, there will be rapid train service between Nasu-Shiobara and Sendai, and another one between Sendai and Morioka to bridge the gap. JR East has announced that it will take a while to completely restore the Tohoku Shinkansen line between Nasu-Shiobara and Morioka. Hope this helps.
