Japan earthquake

I woke up to get a drink and happened to see this news on the tv.
This happened Wednesday night and is listed as a 7.4 quake.
A bullet train derailed near Fukushima as a result of the earthquake but no injuries were reported.

It happen around 23:36 local time (10:36 EDT).

I felt an initial tremor.  I knew there was an earthquake, but not sure if it was a small one or not.
A moment later, I knew it was a quite bit quake, then felt the ground asking.
Immediately, search for the updates. found there was a quake in the Fukushima area.
The magnitude was almost similar to what happened 11 years ago. 
Noticed also, a tsunami warning was issued.

Tohoku Shinkansen operation has been suspended between Nasu-Shiobara and Morioka.
JR East offers special schedule runs between Tokyo and Nasu-Shibara. Also between Morioka and Shin-Aomori.
Between Nasu-Shiobara and Morioka. JR East offers special runs using Tohoku Mainline (exiting mainline).
In this segment, there will be rapid train service between Nasu-Shiobara and Sendai, and another one between Sendai and Morioka to bridge the gap.

JR East has announced that it will take a while to completely restore the Tohoku Shinkansen line between Nasu-Shiobara and Morioka.

According to the JR East press release, it will take another month to restore the damages suffered during the quake, and aiming for the end of April recovery,

As of the 14th, Tohoku Shinkansen service was restored with some restricted speed blocks along the line.
