International Railroad Discussion > Train S699Date: 02/13/23 17:21 Train S699 Author: pedrop Hi, yesterday morning (02/12) I watched the special train S699 with welded rail bars and damaged freight cars passing by Km 622 on way to Divinopolis shops. The rail bars are going to Anapolis, GO to be transfered to broad gauge FNS railroad.
1) BB36-7 9537, BB40-3 8143 and 4813 leading the train; 2) Approaching the crossing main level at Km 622 3) The blue truck needed to go backwards a bit in time to train pass. Date: 02/14/23 11:25 Re: Train S699 Author: pedrop It is running at low speed because it will enter a siding one kilometer ahead. Also, the damaged cars have a low speed limit since some have no brake shoes.

Techincally, I think the lead unit is a SF30BB (formerly a Santa Fe U-boat rebuild called a SF30C). Good to see it still running.
