Airbrakegeezer, here are some photos of the the SAR Class 25NC's and the GMAM at Mainline Steam in Auckland, NZ in December of '02. The Garratt is ex Randfontein Estates Limited R3, former SAR 4088. The 25 NC's are ex Enyati Railway 3508 and SAR 3432. The tenders for the two 4-8-4's are outside at the rear of the shop. And, as you mentioned, all three locos are too big for the loading gauge! Anyway, its a short walk from the upscale shopping district of Parnell to the MS shops if your wife prefers the shopping to steam! The attached link is to the Mainline Steam website.
