Dash cam video storage.
Author: howeld

I am in the process of researching routes for a three week trip next year.  I watched a YouTube video of a road I may traverse.  The video may be found by searching: Colorado River Road Time lapse Dash cam Drive. (At one point following the DPU of a UP coal train)  This video made me think about getting a dash cam and recording my trip.  My main question is what would be the best way to transfer and store the data.  One dash cam I happened to look at generates 64G of data in 10 hours.  If I desire to record and store video from the entire 3 week trip I know I will need to get 2-3TB external portable hard drive.  I do not have a laptop so how would I transfer data from micro SD card to the external hard drive?  Any other suggestions?
Thank you
Derek
