Author: rcfarewell I shot this image on Feb 2, 2018, while hiking to set up for an image of the Winter Park Express climbing up through the Moffat Line tunnels. The question is, does this "cut it" as a train photo?

In fact we occasionally have photos posted from trips that aren't railroad photos but related to the trip to see trains. And yes I love the photo you posted.

70's of Ken Kramer photos in the east where David P. Morgan asked this very same question. The resounding answer then, as I recall, was YES. However, I think we've mellowed over the years and can appreciate a beautiful railroad related photo without a train. Thanks for posting, Lance.
