Shot using Canon Vixia HFS10 in HD, you'll have to excuse the jerky motion, haven't shot video for a long while up till this trip.

Ya Nick, it rocks, the S11 has double the memory capacity of the S10.

Frank . . . wasn't really jerky at all except for the quick pull shot to wide angle. Nicely done for someone who hasn't shot video in a while. I have a couple of HDV camcorders and if my smaller one (Canon HV 20) is similar to yours, there should be a setting in the menu on the LCD screen that sets the audio to auto gain . . . which will eliminate the distortion as the horn sounds passing you.

I'll have to look into that Craig, I'm the hardheaded type that doesn't read instructions, I just do ;-)

Nice. But shoot the whole train. The railroad business is about the cars, whats in them, and how many; and the direction, symbol and locale. Without all these, the locos would not exist.

I did shoot the whole train, though from an editing stand point and to keep ones interest you can only show so many sequences of the entire train.

I have 3hrs of video to edit, so you'll see more, thankfully someone on the trip remembers all the spots, because I sure as sh*t don't...comes with old age ;-)
