Canon City & Royal Gorge westbound today
Author: Grande-Fan

The ex-Rio Grande Tennessee Pass Subd may not see many trains anymore but a
given train is the Canon City & Royal Gorge. A few weeks ago they started weekend trips
and soon will be running 7 days a week.
This morning Rovertrain and I headed to Canon City for the 12:30 departure and not
wanting a common grade crossing shot we walked a little ways into the beginning of the Gorge.
Here is a shot of the train passing MP 162 just west of Canon City.

Here are my contributions... I think its time for L glass.

The first image is three separately exposed images tonemapped using Photomatix pro. This is at the East Switch of Canon City where the Santa Fe went off.

The second image is right out of the camera, just cropped and resized. I'm still learning about resizing and stuff for TO. Hey Belmont, why don't you share your secret.

Great pic. Looks like you're standing in that icy cold water.
