Western Railroad Discussion > Thanksgiving Eve Treats!Date: 11/21/12 18:39 Thanksgiving Eve Treats! Author: rrartist On the eve of my favorite holiday, the skies cleared and I was out looking for trains. The sun was just clearing the distant hill when CP train #284, CP #9818 charged thru Bangor WI. Heading up along the River towards Winona, I met CP #810, BNSF #9217 next to the Dresbach Lock and Dam. Speaking of treats, CP #270 has 6 EMD motors this morning, shown here pounding thru Donehower MN with the ICE #6423 leading the way - NICE!

The top image has #270 swinging into Dakota MN. The middle image has the train rumbling past CP 286 near the Dresbach Dam and lastly, #270 departs La Crescent MN - SWEET!

Back in La Crosse, CP train #283 had this nice leader this afternoon, DME #6365. And lastly, BNSF train U-KEEMAD rolls towards Galesburg behind the BNSF #9137. Have a GREAT Thanksgiving Holiday!!!

My favorite holiday, too - best wishes to you! ~RGDave Date: 11/21/12 19:45 Re: Thanksgiving Eve Treats! Author: DynamicBrake That is one COLORFUL series...thanks for sharing! That fourth shot screams EMD's, I close my eyes and listen...OH YEAH!! Happy Thanksgiving.
