Belles & Frac
Author: KB5WK

Caught a westbound frac sand on Sunday 01/18 leaving Wylie TX with all KCS Belles consist on the Cotton Belt portion of the Alliance sub with KCS4852-4046 head end, KCS4795-4118 rear DPU.

1) DPU power at Murphy TX

2) DPU power at Plano TX

3) Video at Murphy TX with no blow alarm sounding.

I also added a soundbite of the detector at the MP591 on the Alliance sub. Only on heavy trains it sometimes report wrong axles, speed, and sometimes reports westbounds as eastbounds. The detector at MP195 Greenville sub reported 424 axles. These frac sand loaded trains always mess up the 591 detector.

That's one remarkable train with 1,310 axles and 163 mph speed.
Didn't look that long or that fast :O)
