Saratoga and North Creek Railway!

The Saratoga and North Creek Railway is a Shortline that began operation in July 2011 in the upper Hudson River region of the Adirondack Mountains, in the U.S. state of New York.
The railroad With the creation of the Saratoga and North Creek Railway, regularly scheduled service returns to the line for the first time since the D&H ceased freight operations on November 17, 1989.

Currently operates between North Creek and Saratoga Springs, New York, where it connects with other roads!

Also interesting in that SNC has virtually no freight business.

They have shipped some waste rock from a former titanium mine up on the extreme north end of the line, but not much else.

A month or two ago, somebody posted a photo of a nice boxcar owned by a railroad in the south that wasn't even operating, just 'open for business' that might come their way.

Probably a reporting mark of convenience for a boxcar leasing company. By arranging for use of a common carrier mark, they get higher car-hire charges. The cars may never actually visit home rails.
