Western Railroad Discussion > Dark clouds and sun along the BNSFDate: 07/21/18 22:05 Dark clouds and sun along the BNSF Author: Q4960 The weather forecast for Saturday, July 21st, 2018 called for mostly cloudy skies and the threat of rain and thunderstorms along the BNSF Chilli Sub here in Central Illinois. I set out in hopes of getting some sun which did happen as I spent a couple of hours in the small village of Reading, milepost 94. The first photo is of a wesbound, then an eastbound going past a very fine residence in the town. Heavy rain finally moved in as witnessed in the third photo of an eastbound manifest just east of Toluca.

The rain stopped and the skies partly cleared to give off enough light for this autorack train pulled by a pair of KCS locomotives just east of Route 251 south of Wenona.
