JB Date: 04/05/19 22:22 Re: Mystery Box Author: casco17 Definitely unusual.
That tank car looks a bit different too; no expansion dome. I saw some like that near Bassett, CA recently. Date: 04/05/19 23:12 Re: Mystery Box Author: imrl LRS 2534 shows currently in Ray, TX heading for Oklahoma. Someone, most likely someone without authorization, painted over the reporting marks.
Date: 04/06/19 06:39 Re: Mystery Box Author: CM80-46 I have also seen similar white tank cars like that without a dome,in Wisconsin, on the Wisconsin & Southern. They were parked on an isolated siding, so no pic or getting reporting marks. Any comments?

You might need to scroll side to side or up and down. Ctrl and - will zoom the image back out for you. Jim Date: 04/06/19 11:49 Re: Mystery Box Author: ntharalson Thanks, Jim, I've been wondering how to do that. Control and - at the same time reduces the image. Radical concept! LOL
The reporting marks look to be TOE and the trailing car appears to be the same. But why they would drawbar two box cars escapes me. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA Date: 04/06/19 22:14 Re: Mystery Box Author: jpf94 Nick,
What number do you think these cars are? My screen can't display them enough for me to read it. Date: 04/07/19 07:32 Re: Mystery Box Author: Jimmies It's LRS 2534.

------------------------------------------------------- > It's LRS 2534. thank you, checking this car in Umler, it's a single car, no drawbar. Given the other drawbar cars I've handled in the past there's no information on the LRS car record to indicate it was drawbarred and the dimensions fit a single car. |
