There are several WP still running around. I've caught 12022 and then 12061 and 12073 which are a different hopper style.

Yep, the newest WP cars are now over 40, they'll all be gone in the next ten years.

I love to see images of rolling stock on TO --  and the locations they're seen in are always as intteresting as the cars themselves.  Great stuff here!  When I initiallly opened this thread, the first image of the FMC covered hopper, I instantly thougth of that old Star Trek episode where Kirk fought the Gorn.....

I thought the same thing for a moment, then realized this was a UP hopper lettered for WP and probably not a WP car.  There is a lot of this type stuff running around.
The last reporting mrk of choice on the UP seemed to be CMO for a CNW predecessor.

The title of this thread is a bit misleading.
The Mormon Rocks is called just that, Mormon Rocks.
Not to be confused with Mormon Yard up in Stockton on the BNSF (Santa Fe).
When I opened this thread I was expecting to see hoppers in Mormon Yard.

"Sorry do disappoint you, but you might have to get out from behind your keyboard into some fresh air and drive up to Stockton"!
