Union Pacific's "Local 60" with trio of EMD SD70M's and 108-cars
Author: jmulhol2

A trio of EMD SD70M's power the 108-car long UP "Local 60" (La Salle, CO --to/from-- Cheyenne, WY) past MP86 on the UP Greeley Subdivision in Carr, CO, during the early morning hours of 1/8/2022. Some of these motors have been used on the UP "Local 2" (La Salle, CO --to/from-- Fort Collins, CO) recently. There was also a big cut (45 cars) of "frac" sand cars sandwiched in the middle-to-rear portion of the train, which I presume are bound to be set out at Swan Ranch in Speer, WY... (please correct me if I am wrong on this assumption!)

Power:
UP #4900 (built: 03/2002)
UP #4288 (built: 12/2000)
UP #4129 (built: 08/2000)

Just watched the video and it is interesting to see long trains "at speed".

Secondary lines are the only railroad viewing where I live and 25-30 MPH is even rare here.

Thanks.
