Author: SPgoletablock After a broken knuckle while in tow which what I saw has been repaired, the beat down and tired ex Algoma Central F unit can hopefully be restored to operational status.

I remember when Iowa Pacific bought a couple of BL-2's with the intent of sending them to the Arizona Eastern in Globe, AZ they left Janesville, WI and got as afar as St. Louis before someone discovered the non-alignment control couplers. They were immediately bad ordered and held hostage until IPH coughed up the dough to have them changed out. It was an expensive maneuver. Likely for the AZER, the BL-2s were turned around and sent to the Saratoga & North Creek in New York. Date: 09/18/22 11:22 Re: BUGX 1751 tied down at Tehachapi Ca. 9/17/22. Author: MP555 Earlk Wrote:

BNSF will usually move locomotives not equipped with alignment control couplers IF stop blocks are installed. Date: 09/18/22 16:48 Re: BUGX 1751 tied down at Tehachapi Ca. 9/17/22.
