Union Pacific MEWSS
Author: Gerrypaul

I've heard of this, but that's about all I know:

U.P. has a new manifest, operating out of Houston's Englewood Yard, running north to St. Paul.

Does anyone have any video footage of this? What's its route? I figure probably northbound through Hearne, then to Ft. Worth --McAlester  -- Coffeyville -- KC -- Omaha -- Boone, etc.

I'd be happy to hear from anyone on this, including when to expect its departure from Englewood. I realize MEWSS probably very new train. There may be little info on this at this point. I'd guess they swap crews at Ney Yard in Ft. Worth, but that's just a guess.

Can anyone please fill this in a bit?

I’ve shot MEWSS a few times in the last year in Oklahoma between McAlester and Coffeyville KS. Not sure if it is a daily train or an as needed train

We had a MEWSS, Then it became the MHOSS, then MHODM, then MHOMC.  There isn't a MEWSS on any line ups yet.  It's possible it's back, they change the plan every so often.  If it is, it probably will replace the MHOMC.

Is there still a MBOSS ( Boone-S.St.Paul)?

No.  They might run an extra out of Boone north now and then, either to Mason City or South St Paul.
