On a cold April morning, Norfolk and Western 611 puts on a show of sight and sound as it departs with an excursion to Charlotte, North Carolina for the first time since 1994. Always so pleased to see her robust consist, sans diesel helper, compared to the consist (plus diesel) we usually get to see behind UP 844. :) I know we hear the diesel helper in 844's consist is there mostly to provide dynamic braking assistance, but still... Cheers!
