Here are just a few photos and one video of what I shot. The video from the overpass was thrilling with a cell phone recording in one hand and a camera in the other. Has Ed finally found the throttle after three long years? I know that he mastered the whistle cord on day one. Date: 09/08/21 05:06 Re: 4014 on its run to Cheyenne with 1989 tagging along Author: Spoony81 yankingeorgia Wrote:

I actually haven't heard the diesel being used except for when they had the injector issue. All the cab ride videos he has been basically halfway open on the throttle. There's even one out there where he's laying into it a bit and the safeties lift!...Have you seen it in Real Life yet Brian? Well, THAT explains a lot.....:) BSB Date: 09/10/21 09:16 Re: 4014 on its run to Cheyenne with 1989 tagging along Author: TrackGuy I believe the 1989 was added to the consist in Denver to then take the executive train on to Omaha. Doubt it had anything to do with 4014 or 4015 not being up to the task they had just performed for the last month. And, yes, 1989 was selected because Ed had started his career on the Moffat and is a true fan of the Moffat and the D&RGW.
