I carried a Yashica 2 1/4 X 2 1/4 around with me when I was in college loaded with black and white film for the most part. Here is the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio's Jack Line Local that ran from Roodhouse to Bloomington, Illinois. Here's the train with a pair of Alco RS's on the business end as orders are handed up to the crew as they depart Bloomington, Illinois some 40 some years ago.

PS: also thanks for posting the Kodachrome shot, looks like the color stayed faithful in that old image (good to know it lasts).

Great photo. I never had the opportunity to photo much on that line as it was operated only about once a week when I was growing up and when I got a car it was being abandoned. Thanks for sharing this one.

I had one of those Yashicas too. They took some pretty nice photos!
