CTC at Beverly, WA??
Author: ClipX

I was on a website RRSignal.com Photo Gallery. As I was looking through on the CTC machines. I spotted something very interesting. Milwaukee Road had a small CTC installation at Beverley, WA. I am curious if it was installed??
This site is great with old photos of CTC machines that were made in the 1940's and 50's

I do know that there were wind detectors on the Columbia River bridge that were used to stop trains when the wind speeds got too high. I have read that cars or trailers would get blown off the bridge on occasion. Looking at the machine, this might have been the reason, more so than the junction to Hanford on the west bank of the river.
