On another day, Conrail EMD SD40-2's 6431 & 6424 have a switcher in tow as they roll an ALCA to Camden, New Jersey.

Fantastic pictures. Please explain why the same train on different days is on two different sections of track at the same location.

The ALCA worked Reading, PA. most of thtime on it's way to Camden, N.J.
There were a few different routes the dispatcher could use.

The top ALCA took a single track secondary route to make a pickup at a rock quarry.
It's heading back to the double track mainline in the photo.

The bottom ALCA is passing the spot where the top ALCA is on.
That little piece of track (bottom left) is how the top train will rejoin the mainline.
