Train Time at Grinnell IA on Maroon Monday
Author: MILW86A

Been scanning some B&W prints from the Dennis E. Holmes Collection.

Here in the summer of 1968 is WB Train 7 about to stop at Grinnell IA on the Chicago to Denver Line.

Today this is the IAIS and the depot is an excellent eating establishment in Grinnell.

Thanks for Looking.

That would be the siding.  Grinnell was a terrible place for a freight train to head in for a meet.
Not so bad meeting a PSGR train as they probably headed right thru.  The siding was short to
start with and then it had a bunch of road crossings as well as the MSTL (CNW) crossing.
