Just happened upon this photo while looking at a non-train related site.  Thought some here might like to see it.

Great photo! I know I have seen either this or very similar photos at this location in Albuquerque in the past. This would have been during World War II with the headlight shield. Interesting that they are fueling right from a tank car, makes sense since this was so early in the diesel era that they had not built a fueling facility yet.

Looked like it could be a Jack Delano photo when I first looked at it.  Sure enough it is.  https://www.shorpy.com/node/83.  A bunch of his stuff can be found on the Shorpy site
