CN & BC Rail Power
Author: Train611

Hi...

Tuesday started off a little grey, but we got a couple of veterans on the head-end of a CN 100 Series train around 0755 Hrs.

1. CN2430 West was looking like it need some paint touch-ups.

2. BC Rail 4613 looked like it needed a good wash down.

3. The train had a Limited to Clear signal at MP8.9 (Kissick) on the Ashcroft Sub to keep it moving.

That was about it out there for a while.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice location, and as already mentioned, the framing of #3 is really nice. Looks like a cut and a tunnel? If it's not asking for trade secrets, do you access this by going west out of the "north side" of Kamloops? When shooting this area, I tended to Savona and Ashcroft, hating to cut myself off from both lines. But this location looks too good to pass up, and must be great in the morning for EB. Thanks in advance.
Fred

I appreciate the positive comments...thank you!

The location is on the north side of the lake and out by the old Tranquille townsite.

There are quite a few public locations from Kamloops west to this spot. And in the morning, in the sun, if they send the eastbounds, a great spot.

The road is a good one. With a scanner you can pick up the action on the Ashcroft Sub.

Have a look
On Google Maps.
