Canadian Railroads > Trains seen on a Trip to CalgaryDate: 03/12/18 21:35 Trains seen on a Trip to Calgary Author: Train611 Hello...
Last week I travelled from Kamloops to Calgary for personal business. The camera and the scanner are "part of the luggage". 1. At Sicamous I was expecting an eastbound, but CP8830 came first leading a westbound potash train. We see the double DPU's working over the bridge at Sicamous, on a nice, but cold day. 2. At Field BC we have CP9639 just getting a new crew for the next leg of the trip with a "100 Series" train heading to Calgary and east. 3. While at Field, UP5518 was the lead unit on a westbound CP grain train coming off the Field hill and into the yard for a quick crew change and off to the west. The roads were in really good condition, and the sky was mostly blue! The scenery was fabulous! Thanks for looking. 611 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/12/18 22:19 by Train611.
