Saturday afternoon 6-PACK...(PART 1)
Author: Train611

Hello to all...

This afternoon's objective was to capture a late Via # 1. But we had some traffic!

1. CN2819 west leads a mixed train past a rural farmyard towards Kamloops - at 1638hrs.

2. Via # 1 running about 18 hours late is following the 2819 - 1647hrs.

3. CN2309 East leads a mixed 400 series train east passing #1 - 1648hrs.

Thanks for looking...

Hello again...

Around 1705 CN587 was heading towards the CN Yard, coming from the Okanagan (Vernon area)

1. CN 587 with part of Kamloops behind the train is on the Okanagan Sub after coming off the CP Shuswap sub about 3 miles behind.

2. CN2420 is on the head-end.

3. CN5425 is the 2nd unit. When they head back to the Okanagan in the morning, and if the same power is used...5425 will be the lead unit.

As you can see a nice afternoon!

THANKS for looking.

I like these views; I've been through Kamloops often enough, but it's always been hustling to get to Ashcroft, or hustling to make it home to Edmonton via Jasper, so I've never taken advantage of opportunities in town. Love the first shot of this second group, in particular.

Great shots. I was on the late Via 1 and jumped off in Edmonton just after midnight early sat morning
