Canadian Railroads > Miserable Monday's...or Why I Left AlbertaDate: 11/26/18 13:36 Miserable Monday's...or Why I Left Alberta Author: arwye I'll let the conditions speak for themselves. A small group of us "damm fools" were heading for home to Calgary after a weekend at Cascade, Montana when we came across snow drenched CP 5625 heading eastbound just outside of Fort MacLeod Alberta on January 24 1982. Trying to stop on that icy Highway #3 wasn't much fun either. Richard Yaremko

Vancouver Island is beautiful, but the spiders there are massive!! The girlfriend and I spent some time just outside of Sooke overlooking the Juan De Fuca, Gorgeous as can be, but I thought the spiders were going to eat me for dinner! We even had a bear break into our garbage can.....

Of all the great things about this photo, that tank car ranks right up there! Welcome back to the Canadian board on TO. How many trains per day do you get to shoot in the Cowichan Valley, by the way?

Now I have to go grab a mug of hot chocolate to warm up a bit.
