Eastern Railroad Discussion > Dickerson Station & Interesting Brunswick Trains

Was looking through some of my recent photographs that I did not share on here until now. I took a Brunswick, Maryland trip on Saturday August 16, 2014 since there was nice weather in the forecast calling for sunny skies, low temps, and low humidity on the 16th of August.

I picked out a dozen pics from the 16th that I think will be of interest to some here. Seen several train that day in Brunswick but I'll post just the most interesting ones.

First three pics are of eastbound autorack L226-14 led by CSX 7527 and CEFX 3144 in Run 8 grinding slowly past the Marc Dickerson station on number 2 track at 10:20 am. Train is climbing Barnesville Hill and it is a slow go with a long heavy train in tow.

Top pic is westbound K057-15 led by BNSF 6618 and BNSF 7634 passing the closed WB Tower in Brunswick at 12:33 pm.

Next two are of eastbound D787-16 led by CSX 5291, 8549, 4013, and 2573 about to enter Brunswick Yard at 1:15 pm.

Next two are of eastbound Q130-15 stopped at Maple Avenue for a crew change at 2:25 pm.

Next two are of westbound E851 led by CSX 5001 and 4582 departing Brunswick Yard passing by the 84 Lumber store at 4:20 pm.

Last pic is eastbound K630-14 led by CP 8828 and 9565 passing through the Cattle Pen at 4:25 pm. The 84 Lumber store is nearby.
