Yesterday evening a half mile away from my house, the local Amish Guy who has a Nathan 5 chime K5LA on his barn, he it going quite a lot last night. And to anwser any questions, he has a gas powered compressor with a 1,000 gallon propane tank that he uses for the air. He uses the horn for morse code or like a telegraph to let someone else know he needs help with something. But being honest, it really sounds beautiful in person considering there are no trains near me for 20+ miles.
