2/25/21, UBST passes over the 60ft. high viaduct crossing Little Pipe Creek and Keymar Road @ 9:28 a.m.
A viaduct has existed here since 1872, the PRR rebuilt all of this structure in 1896 and 1902-03.

2/25/21, UBST has picked up 15 cement loads at the Union Bridge yard and is now a combined UBST-UBEG (Union Bridge STone/Union Bridge -Emory Grove).
They are now running on former Western Maryland RWY. trackage at Shepherds Mill, site of the connection to the Lehigh Portland cement plant @ 1016 a.m.
At 10:25 they are passing the derelict block signals @ New Windsor.
By 11:11, the train is close to Cedarhurst at Lawndale RD., where the stone loads will be dropped at the Barrick transload facility.

The UBEG portion of the train is approaching Emory Grove @ 11:45, seen here passing Reisterstown Lumber at Old Hanover Rd.
Cars will be exchanged with CSX, and the train returns @ 12:44 p.m.

Thank you so much Bigsavage for the updates and great photos of the Maryland Midland Operations.  Lucky for me I have traveled over all of that trackage years ago when the line through Woodsboro was the Maryland Midland and the rest was still Western Maryland.  That is a very nice trestle to cross over on a passenger train.

After picking up the stone car empties at Cedarhurst, the combined train with over 35 cars is blasting up the grade into Westminster @ 14:11.
This shot shows the MP 32.5 bridge, an x-PRR span removed from the former Taneytown, MD-Littlestown,PA branch in 1989 to repair flood damage from a 1975 flood.
After passing Westminster, the train is shown @ 14:25 rolling along Avondale Rd.

Passing Shepherds Mill @ 14:45, the train will split just ahead at the Union Bridge yard and then proceed with the stone empties to Woodsboro.
Approaching the connector track to the x-PRR near Keymar, shown here at Middleburg @ 15:38
Passing the Baker Rd. pond @ 15:50, after dropping the stone cars, the engines will return light to Union Bridge, and begin making up the evening train to Highfield.
