Eastern Railroad Discussion > The One's That Keep Stalking MeDate: 04/14/21 15:35 The One's That Keep Stalking Me Author: PC1073 Throughout the many years of chasing trains, some seem to come across an
engine/s that they seem to be constantly encountered. Yesterday's H79/39G with the NS 8025 got me to thinking about this. NS H/U wise, the 8025 is far and away my most photographed. On the Amtrak side, 145 is a run away leader, heritage or otherwise. CSX, I couldn't seem to shake the 690. No idea why, but, honestly, I must have photographed that darn thing 10-15 times leading a train. What are some of these "stalkers" that you folks have encountered through the years. 1. Yesterdays H79 at Bridgeport Pa. 2. Amtrak 145 along the Keystone Corridor, at Rosemont Station 3. CSX 690 in Northeast Philadelphia, on the CSX Trenton Sub. It shows up in a fair majority of my slides, almost always leading. Guess it must have been a good runner.
