Eastern Railroad Discussion > W&LE blast from the pastDate: 10/13/21 12:12 W&LE blast from the past Author: King_Coal I was lucky to spend a few days in Pennsylvania last week. One of the highlights was seeing the Wheeling & Lake Erie Connellsville to Rook train pulled by 4 SD40-2s of various heritage.
The sound was enough to bring a pleasant memory of the trains of 30-40 years ago. The video was taken a few miles north of Connellsville as the W&LE climbs away from the CSXT connection and onto the ex-Pittsburgh and West Virginia line. Thanks to the local who helped me find the location to film this treat. Bob Omaha You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today!
