Hope crew(s) are ok. Posted from Android Date: 01/31/22 11:53 Re: Train derailment reported in Bluefield, Virginia Author: Jimbo Bluefield, Virginia, is just west of Bluefield, West Virginia. Think about that for a moment.
I like the new term in the reports for containers - train cargo carts. Date: 01/31/22 12:47 Re: Train derailment reported in Bluefield, Virginia Author: Lackawanna484 ns1000 Wrote:

In case this is a serious question, it's in the mountains just west of where I-77 crosses the WV/VA state line. Basically the mainline to Portsmouth OH re-enters Virginia for a short stretch before continuing on in West Virginia. The Clinch Valley line diverges off at Bluefield VA and continues on in Virginia to Norton. And just to keep things straight, remember that I-77 North is the exact same road as I-81 South through Virginia. Otherwise they are separate roads. Date: 02/01/22 13:54 Re: Train derailment reported in Bluefield, Virginia Author: toledopatch Tominde Wrote:

There's about 25 miles of I-77 south from the Bluefield/Princeton area before one reaches the wrong-way concurrency with I-81. Whatever happened to the concept that if you must talk about a subject in which you are basically clueless, you find someone who DOES and either have THEM describe it or have them educate you? I guess when you are too dumb to know what you don't know, you get "train cargo carts"......... |
