Read in the paper the other night that the Buckingham Branch could be the new owners of North Mtn Subdivision. Says through the grapevine that CSX Has the contract in Jacksonville and is yet to send the signed document back to them.

Could this be the next biggest thing in CSX Railroad history?

Will I loose the sights of CSX on the mtn? and if so, Wonder what kinda motor power they will use?

Guess we are in a waiting game just like that past rumors of sales.........

Would this fall under the "CSX One" plan or the BHAG program?
I heard their "CSX One" plan is short for CSX Number One, originated by fans in JAX walking along the open office windows, pointing their middle finger skyward :-)

From what I have heard this is true,not to worry though.I am sure you will still see CSX running thier empties west.They will just be paying someone else to lease the tracks they use to own.How smart is that???

in some business way very smart...they won't have to pay the property taxes or taxes on the rails that they own...Buck Branch would ahve to pay that..al CSX would ahve to pay for is trackage rights..for once I'd have to say it was a smart move by Jville.
