Model Railroading > John Signor caught trespassing at Cantara LoopDate: 08/19/14 18:25 John Signor caught trespassing at Cantara Loop Author: photobob He is obviously hanging out over railroad property as he attempts to take a photo of an eastbound train rounding Cantara Loop. We went up today to visit David Scotts S scale layout which is still under construction in Weed, California. He is modeling the Dunsmuir area so a major tree building project is in the near future.

They were working on the scenery and we just sort of dropped in so getting photos was a little rough. Here's the Dunsmuir turntable and roundhouse. The other two are at Cantara Loop. The layout is in S scale.

However, how do we know the railroad's owner(s) didn't INVITE him to photograph the line "that up close" ....? Looks like they did to me. Great stuff!!

I'd have to include Redding and maybe a few other towns in the wide sweep. Many of the owners have influenced each other's Layouts, but the recurring theme seems to be Dunsmuir, Cantara Loop and the SP as it was.
