Model Railroading > Finally startedDate: 08/09/22 03:56 Finally started Author: SALGUY For the first time in decades I've finally
started building a module for my future layout. Until a year ago I had been out of the hobby for a long time. This was because for 15 years I messed around with the 12 inches to a foot trains and that ruined my interest in the hobby of model railroading. Well, this past weekend I got busy, along with 2 able bodied helpers, and started building my representation of Brooksville, Florida on the Seaboard Air Line. It sure felt good to actually accomplish something. We did this on Saturday and then on Sunday I built the small garage that I will show as well. It is a Laser-Kits Hudson garage kit. It feels good to be back into the hobby of model railroading. I'm the good looking gray haired old guy in the photo. The young lady is awesome daughter Jeannine and the other guy is my good friend Jesse. Date: 08/09/22 04:43 Re: Finally started Author: SeaboardMan Welcome back.

Rich Date: 08/09/22 10:49 Re: Finally started Author: SALGUY It's going to take some cleaning to give me room to expand to build a layout. That won't be an issue though, it's just getting it done as I have limited time at home.
Date: 08/09/22 10:52 Re: Finally started Author: SALGUY Thanks but its hardly representative of a Seaboard Air Line passenger train. I just threw that stuff on the track for photographic purposes. All in all, counting cars under construction, I have about 30 SAL and, RFP and PRR passenger cars.
